The Cleveland Guardians traded catcher Bo Naylor and relief pitcher Codi Heuer to the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday in exchange for outfielder Blake Perkins and relief pitcher Craig Yoho.

Naylor, 26, is slashing .224/.340/.436 with seven home runs and 24 RBI through 46 games in the minors this season (45 games in Triple-A) after racking up just 12 hits in 84 at-bats (24 games) for the Guardians. He has been in the minors since mid-May.

Heuer, 30, has also spent most of his season in Triple-A, tossing a 3.46 ERA in 26 games after putting up a 4.66 ERA with the Guardians through eight games this season.

Perkins, 29, is struggling mightily in the majors this season, slashing .157/.250/.258 with one home run and 11 RBI through 55 games with the Brewers.

Yoho, 26, is the impressive trade piece in this deal heading to Cleveland. He has a 3.15 ERA through 15 games, giving up just nine hits and eight walks with 18 strikeouts through 20 innings.
