New York Yankees rookie Spencer Jones launched his first career home run 443 feet during Tuesday's matchup against the Cleveland Guardians.

Jones, 25, was called up on June 5th after superstar Aaron Judge went on the injured list with a stress fracture in one of his ribs.

The 6-foot-7 rookie, the same height as Judge, is now making his second stint in the majors this season. He was originally called up back in May after Jasson Dominguez went to the IR.

Jones is hitting .250 with 16 strikeouts in 35 plate appearances, three RBI, and a stolen base through 13 games this season before Tuesday's matchup.

After being selected by the Los Angeles Angels in the 31st round of the 2019 MLB Draft, Jones opted to play for Vanderbilt University for a few years instead.

Then, in 2022, Jones was selected 25th overall (first round) by the Yankees. Jones is now the Yankees' No. 6 overall prospect and their top outfielding prospect.

He has 13 home runs and 48 RBI with a .269 batting average and .949 OPS through 43 games in Triple-A this season, a year removed from hitting a career high 35 home runs and 80 RBI last season across multiple minor league levels.
