William Osula starred as one of the profiles in the Danish U21 national team at this summer's European Championship finals.
Now he's getting his chance in the senior national team.
On Sunday, the Danish FA announced that the strong Newcastle striker has been selected for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Scotland and Greece.
The announcement comes in the wake of an unfortunate hamstring injury to the in-form Victor Jensen, who was carried off the field for Utrecht earlier this week.
The injury forced Jensen to cancel his plans for taking part in the Danish preparations for the Scotland clash, and instead, Osula has been called up as a replacement.
22-year-old William Osula has never been selected for the senior national team before, and he could therefore make his debut if he gets into action.
Earlier this week, the Dane came into focus when he scored late in Newcastle's 2-3 defeat against Liverpool.
