Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik (21) announced on Monday that he will be returning to Clemson for his senior year.
The junior will bypass the 2025 NFL Draft to hang around for one more season with the Clemson Tigers after the team lost to Texas 38-24 in the first round of the College Football Playoffs.
Klubnik posted the announcement to X.
Klubnik is coming off a season in which he threw 3,639 yards and 36 touchdowns with just six interceptions and a 148.2 passer rating. He also ran for 463 yards and seven touchdowns then led Clemson to an ACC title this year over SMU, earning himself the game's MVP.
Since taking over as the starter for Clemson, the Texas native has led the Tigers to a 19-9 record while throwing for 7,180 yards and 57 touchdowns with 18 interceptions.
Clemson finished 10-4 on the year and 7-1 in the ACC.
