Tennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks (25) cleared waivers on Tuesday and will head to the injured reserve.

Once Burks fully recovers, the team will release the wide receiver, leaving him to sign with any team.

The former first-round pick was waived by the Titans after suffering a broken collarbone that occurred while Burks fought for a pass in the endzone.

It's yet another injury deterring Burks' chance to prove himself in the NFL. His 2024 season ended after tearing his ACL and now he'll miss yet another season as he recovers from his broken collarbone.

Burks was taken with the first-round pick (18th overall) in the 2022 NFL Draft that the Titans acquired from the Philadelphia Eagles in the blockbuster trade - the same one that sent A.J. Brown to Philly.

What was once a hopeful prospect that could become the team's future No. 1 receiver will now be finding another team in the future.
