The Baltimore Ravens acquired EDGE Dre’Mont Jones in a trade with the Tennessee Titans on Monday in exchange for a conditional 2026 fifth-round pick that could become a fourth-rounder.

Jones has 4.5 sacks over the past four games for the Titans and was tied for the team lead in the stat with defensive captain Jeffrey Simmons

The 28-year-old EDGE rusher will instantly be a boost for a Ravens pass rush that currently ranks 31st in total sacks (11) this season, just one above the Jacksonville Jaguars for the fewest in the NFL.

Their 17.2% pressure rate when not blitzing is currently the worst over the past two decades as no other team finished a season below 20%.

Nnamdi Madubuike's two sacks still lead the team, alongside Tavius Robinson, despite him playing in two games this season - he's out for the year with a neck injury.

In other words, their pass rush is historically bad.

Jones has never had more than 6.5 sacks in a single season. He spent the first four years of his career with the Denver Broncos before joining the Seattle Seahawks for two.

But could potentially set a new career-high with how he's been playing as of late.

The 28-year-old signed a one-year, $8.5 million deal with the Titans this offseason and has begun to find his pass-rush footing over the past four weeks.

After starting the first five games of the season without a single sack and just five pressures, he's now recorded all 4.5 sacks and 14 pressures in just the past four games alone.

He's an upgrade for the Ravens, but they need to do a lot more if they want to create a manageable pass rush threat.
