He will now join Atlanta Braves star outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. in the yearly tradition during the All-Star break.
And to add on to the special moment - Raleigh's dad will be the one pitching to him.
Raleigh leads the league with 32 home runs - making him the only player throughout the MLB above 30.
The veteran catcher is having a career-best season, and that's putting it lightly. Earlier this month, Raleigh surpassed the legendary Hall of Famer Johnny Bench with the most home runs by a catcher prior to the All-Star break with 26 - which wasn't for another four weeks at the time.
He now has the opportunity this season to join Bench (again) and Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez to become one of only three catchers to lead the majors in home runs at the end of the regular season.
Raleigh is slashing a wonderful .277/.387/.655 to go with his 32 home runs and 69 RBI, earning him 1.9 million American League All-Star votes, second to New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge's 2.9 million (as of the currently tallied votes).
