Devers has now climbed into the 10th spot on the Red-Sox all-time home runs list with 212, surpassing Rico Petrocelli (210).
His eight RBI in the game also set a personal career high for a single game.
Devers' second home run came off of infielder Emmanuel Rivera of the Orioles after the team decided to reserve their pitchers for the second game in the double header - but a home run is still a home run.
He now has the opportunity to surpass Jimmie Fox (222), Bobby Doerr (223), and Mo Vaughn (230) this season and possibly, at some point, leap Red Sox legend Manny Ramirez (274).
Devers is having a fantastic year for Boston, slashing .299/.415/.972 with 12 home runs and 47 RBI.
The three-time All-Star and two-time Silver Slugger is now just two home runs away from hitting the halfway mark of what he posted last season (28) - we're only in May.
Over the past four seasons, Devers has hit at least 20 home runs and 80 RBI, reaching 30-100 twice (2023, 2021) and three times in his career (2019).
The Red Sox are currently .500 with a 26-26 record after their 19-5 win over the Orioles in game one of their doubleheader on Friday. Game two is currently under a rain delay.
