Damsgaard and Lindstrøm in terrific form
In the absence of Marcus Rashford who according to United-coach Ruben Amorim isn't putting in the effort required, Rasmus Højlund was again given the chance to shine in attack for United at Craven Cottage. But he struggled to make an impact and was taken off after 58 minutes against a stubborn Fulham-defense well organized by Joachim Andersen who came close to giving Fulham a share of the spoils with a great header which was, however, saved by United reserve-keeper Tony Collyer.
While Mads Hermansen is still injured, Jannik Vestergaard and and Victor Kristiansen put on a fine defensive display for Leicester who survived a Tottenham siege and earned a heard-fought 2-1 win against Ange Postecoglous men in North London.
Albert Grønbæk did not feature in the squad for Southampton after his transfer from Rennes for the game against Newcastle who had William Osula on the bench all the match.
Brentfords Mathias Jensen came on for the injured Christian Nørgaard after 54 minutes in the 2-1 away win against Crystal Palace where Mikkel Damsgaard continued his bright start to the second part of the season by setting up Kevin Schade for the visitors' second goal on the night.

In-form Wind Man of the Match
Jesper Lindstrøm was one of the key profiles for Everton who took a surprising 1-0 win away against Brighton for whom Matthew O'Riley came on for Joey Veltman six minutes from the end.
In the Championship Norwich got back on the winning track after three successive defeats mainly thanks to Emiliano Marcondes who both scored and provided an assist for Johannes Hoff Thorup's side.
Jonas Wind was again Man of the match in Wolfsburgs clash with Holstein Kiel. Wind first provided an assist for Patrick Wimmers equaliser and later gave the hosts a 2-1 lead. Joachim Mæhle was also in the starting lineup for the Wolkswagen club while Andreas Skov Olsen got his debut after the break following his transfer from Club Brügge.
Jacob Bruun Larsen also got his debut for VfB Stuttgart who lost away to Bo Henriksens Mainz while Rasmus Kristensen was one of the best players for Frankfurt in their 2-2 draw against Hoffenheim and Robert Skov played 71 minutes for struggling Union Berlin in their 3-0 defeat against St. Pauli.

United transfer-target in heavy defeat
Yussuf Poulsen came on for Lois Openda 16 minutes before the end as RB Leipzig forugh back to earn a 2-2 draw at home against Bayer Leverkusen. In Dortmund in-form Jens Stage came very close to grapping a winner for Werder Bremen against 10-man Borussia while he provided Marvin Duksch with a marvellous assist for his late equaliser.
In the 2. Bundesliga Mikkel Kaufmann (on loan from Heidenheim) scored his first goal of the season for Karlsruhe who lost at home against Fortuna Düsseldorf despite enjoying a 2-0 lead.
Patrick Dorgu put all the speculation about an imminent transfer to Manchester United aside as he starred as the best player for Lecce in the 0-4 defeat against Inter in the serie A.
Despite not getting on the scoreboard, Jens Odgaard put on another fine performance for Bologna who were held to a 1-1 draw away against Empoli while a slightly disappointing Gustav Isaksen was taken off at half-time for Lazio in their home defeat against Fiorentina.

Hey gets his Anderlecht debut
Thomas Kristensen was back in the line-up for Udinese and dealt well with the threat of AS Romas Artem Dovbyk but couldn´t prevent the home side from losing 2-1 at home to Claudio Ranieri's side on Sunday.
Phillip Billing spent all the time on the bench for Napoli in their 2-1 win against Juventus who suffered their first defeat of the season in the Serie A at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium.
In France Pierre-Emile Højbjerg starred as best player for Olympique Marseille but could not prevent Roberto de Zerbi's team from suffering a 2-0 defeat in the Southern derby against Nice.
Last but not least Lucas Hey got his debut for Anderlecht after his transfer from FC Nordsjælland in the 4-1 win against KV Mechelen while Casper Nielsen was praised for his performance for Club Brügge in their 1-1 draw with Kortrijk.
