Enriching the stats you normally search and track on Flashscore will come in two waves. In the first part, starting in the second half of November, we're adding new stats for 35 competitions, the meanings of which you can read about below.
In the second phase, scheduled for early 2025, we'll be adding more and categorising them in the match detail. You'll be able to choose whether to focus on just the attacking or defensive data for a given team while watching a game, for example.
Which stats are we adding, and what do they mean?
Hit woodwork
Big chances - clear goalscoring opportunities, either converted or wasted. This includes one-on-one situations, close-range shots or situations where there is low defensive pressure on the shooter.
Shots inside the box
Shots outside the box
Headed goals - like yellow and red cards, this statistic will only be displayed if it is non-zero
Touches in the opposition box
Clearances
Passes in the final third - in the format of successes/attempts and percentage
For the following statistics, we will also adjust their display:
Passes - in percentage of passes (successful passes/total passes) format.
Tackles - in the format successful/attempts and percentage
Crosses - in successful/attempts and percentage format
