23:05 CET - That is where we leave you this weekend! Be sure to return next weekend for more European action.

22:57 CET - Finally for this weekend, Real Madrid got the job done in the second half after scoring two goals in Valencia to keep the pressure on Barcelona in the LaLiga title race.

22:45 CET - Juventus have rescued a draw in Serie A! The Old Lady came from behind twice at home to Lazio with their second equaliser coming in the dying moments through full-back Pierre Kalulu.

22:40 CET - Five-star PSG put on a show against Marseille this evening in quite possibly the best performance since their incredible Champions League final display at the climax of last season.

Star man Ousmane Dembele's brace in the first half was followed by three more goals in the second, including a sumptuous volley by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia on his return from injury.

21:52 CET - Finally, in LaLiga, there is work to do for Real Madrid in the second half as the score remains goalless in Valencia at the break.

21:45 CET - Over to Serie A and it is not going to plan so far for Juventus in what has been a disappointing week for the Turin giants.

Visitors Lazio took the lead on the brink of half-time and the goal came courtesy of former Chelsea player Pedro, who rolled back the years to stun the home side.

20:33 CET - It hasn't been the perfect season so far for PSG after the extraordinary heights of the 2024/25 campaign but they have been back to something close to their best this evening in Le Classique. Ballon d'Or winner Ousmane Dembele has been the star of the show after a classy brace, including a mazy run and lethal strike for his second goal.

20:25 CET - That is a big setback for Atletico Madrid in LaLiga as they lost 1-0 at home to Real Betis after Antony's first half goal for the visitors.

20:20 CET - Finally tonight, there is also a significant match in Serie A as Champions League-chasing Juventus host Lazio.

Team news is in for that game with kick-off at 20:45 CET.

19:45 CET - Over in the Bundesliga and Bayern Munich have cruised to a routine win against Hoffenheim to hand Hoffenheim a brutal setback after their impressive run of form.

19:35 CET - What a chaotic end at Anfield! A late penalty by Erling Haaland gave the visitors a late winning goal to complete a dramatic comeback after Szoboszlai's sensational free-kick not long before put the hosts ahead.

It is a big win for Manchester City to keep them in the title race. A late goal was ruled out by VAR to take the gloss off the win after a chaotic end saw Rayan Cherki put the ball in the net before VAR decided there was a foul by Szoboszlai in the build-up and the goal was disallowed with the Hungarian sent off.

When the dust settles on that dramatic finale, that will be seen as a big three points for Man City that keeps them in the title race. For Liverpool, though, that is a major setback in their push for Champions League qualification.

19:16 CET - Bernardo Silva has levelled things up and silenced Anfield after finishing off a rapid Man City attack with a smart finish after Erling Haaland knock down inside the box.

19:10 CET - Strasbourg's run of wins is over after an underwhelming 2-1 defeat at Le Havre this afternoon in Ligue 1.

19:03 CET - Wow! What an incredible way to break the deadlock at Anfield... Free-kick specialist Domink Szoboszlai has done it again for Liverpool with a thunderbolt from range, which flew into the back of the net off the post with incredible venom and spin. Is there anyone better in the business at set-pieces?

18:55 CET - It remains goalless at Anfield but it isn't for a lack of trying from the home side in this second half after their attackers have missed a host of golden chances. 25 minutes remain, can either side find the all-important winning goal?

18:50 CET - Over to Serie A and it is so far so good for Inter at Sassuolo with the leaague leaders 2-0 up and cruising.

18:20 CET - It is half-time in the big clash in the Premier League this afternoon, and despite some good spells by each side, it remains level at the break and all to play for in the second half.

In a game that was built up as a clash between two exciting attacks, it has been the two defences on top so far at Anfield.

18:12 CET - It is half-time in the afternoon games in Ligue 1 and in the headline fixture, Le Havre are currently level against in-form Strasbourg.

The hosts took the lead in the 26th minute through teenage defender Stephan Zagadou before things got even worse for the visitors when Ismael Doukoure was given his marching orders. Strasbourg's 10 men dug deep, though, and got back into the game before the break through forward Martial Godo.

17:45 CET - Next up in Serie A today, Sassuolo host an Inter side looking to extend their lead at the top of the league with kick-off from 18:00 CET.

In LaLiga, both Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid are in action, with the former taking on Real Betis at 18:30 CET, while the latter visit Valencia at 21:00 CET.

Bayern Munich have the opportunity to stretch their lead at the summit of the Bundesliga, as they meet high-flying Hoffenheim at 17:30 CET.

Inter Milan and Juventus will be looking to pick up wins in Serie A, while tonight at 20:45 CET, PSG clash with Marseille in Le Classique.

February 7th

23:10 CET - That is where we leave you tonight but be sure to come back tomorrow for another huge day of football across Europe!

23:05 CET - Despite an Endrick red card leaving Lyon with 10 men for the final half an hour against Nantes, Ligue 1's form side held to a big 1-0 win at Nantes to climb up to third for the time being.

22:58 CET - Over to LaLiga and Real Sociedad climb to eighth after a routine 3-1 win at home to Elche to keep their unbeaten run going.

22:45 CET - A dramatic late equaliser from Torino has denied Fiorentina a massive comeback win in their battle for survival in Serie A!

Fiorentina had done well to turn a potential defeat around after coming from behind to lead 2-1 but a late Torino dagger by Chilean defender Guillermo Maripan denied the hosts three points.

That result leaves Fiorentina in the relegation zone despite looking set to move out of the relegation zone just moments before the late equaliser. A cruel sport at times.

At 1-0, the game was still in the balance, but a classy finish from talisman Bruno Fernandes late on ended any hope of a comeback for Thomas Frank's side. Another three points for Man United in their push for Champions League football.
