Kyren Wilson (33) put on a snooker clinic to rack up a superb 6-3 victory over world number one Judd Trump (35) in the semi-finals of the Masters at Alexandra Palace on Saturday evening, ending Trump's hopes of winning all four major titles in a single season.
The world number two will face Shaun Murphy in Sunday's final after his 6-3 victory over Mark Allen earlier in the day, which included a stunning 147 break from the eventual victor.
Wilson enjoyed 61, 89, 60, 76, 88 and 85 breaks before finalising the win with a spectacular century break.
"Delighted to make my second Masters final," Wilson said after the match.
"I said to Trump: 'what an atmosphere' before we started tonight. It gave me goosebumps.
"Judd is so, so hard to beat. I really had to dig in today. I wasn't 100 per cent, but thanks to the crowd.
"Shaun has been playing incredibly all week. I'm really looking forward to it."
Wilson will take on Murphy at 14:00 CET on Sunday in London, aiming to take home the £350,000 top prize.
