Danish Under-21 national team defender Anton Gaaei says there will an extra incentive to go flat out for the win, when he faces a number of his Ajax teammates in Sunday's clash with the Netherland in the U21 Euros.

The Ajax trio Youri Regeer, Kenneth Taylor and Jorel Hato were all in the starting lineup for the Netherlands as they kicked off the U21 Euro campain in a 2-2 draw against Finland and they all feature among the Dutch profiles.

But Gaaei is ready to take on his friends from Amsterdam.

"We will do everything to win. I especially want that, as I want to win over my good friends and someone I play against on a daily basis. So I'm really looking forward to it. There are of course the bragging rights. But it's just about getting as many points in the group as possible and then see how far it goes", says Gaaei to bold.dk

"So we will do everything but we know that it will of course be really, really difficult", says Anton Gaaei.

Back in December, the draw was made for the tournament where Gaaei found out that he would be facing his Ajax-teammates and so the banter began.

"We quickly came after each other. We teased each other a bit already there. So it will be fun. Some of them just said that they would win easily over us. I think it was Youri Bass, who is unfortunately injured now. It was a lot of fun. But now we have to see how it turns out tomorrow", says Gaaei who also reveals that he has been texting and teasing back and forth with Kenneth Taylor ahead of the match.

The Netherlands got off to a bad start at the U21 Euros, as they had to settle for a 2-2 draw against Finland in the first match and consequently will be under extra presseure to deliver the goods in the game against Denmark to preserve their hopes of proceeding in the tournament.

Denmark won their first match 3-2 against Ukraine.
