A player's first hat-trick in a Real Madrid shirt is never forgotten and Kylian Mbappe got his at the weekend, while in England young defender Abdukodir Khusanov didn't have the happiest of debuts for Manchester City.

Here are Flashscore's winners and losers from the footballing weekend.

Winner: Kylian Mbappe

In the latest round of LaLiga, Real Madrid ran out comfortable 3-0 winners away to bottom-placed Valladolid, with Kylian Mbappe scoring all the goals. The French star netted in the 30th, 57th and 91st minutes to score his first hat-trick in a Los Blancos shirt as the Galacticos remain leaders in Spain and chase their 37th title.

What's more, Opta stats show the 26-year-old striker equalled Ronaldo Nazario's feat, with both scoring their first Real hat-trick after 19 games.

Loser: Abdukodir Khusanov

Desperate to strengthen their defence after a poor run of results and no fewer than seven goals conceded in their last four games in all competitions, Manchester City have this winter transferred Uzbek centre-back Abdukodir Khusanov.

The Citizens paid €40 million to French outfit RC Lens for the 20-year-old's signature, but thrust into the fray from the very first minute against Chelsea, he didn't have the happiest of debuts; right at the start of the match at the Etihad, he committed a serious error which led to Noni Madueke's goal in the third minute to put the game beyond Noni Madueke's reach.

Pep Guardiola's side went on to beat the Londoners 3-1, but Khusanov received the lowest Flashscore rating of any City player.

Winner: AC Milan

Rossoneri fans were treated to a heart-stopping finale in the last round of Serie A as AC Milan hosted Parma at the San Siro. In the 90th minute, the scoreboard read 2-1 in favour of the visitors and it looked as if the final result would be the same as when the sides met earlier in the season.

However, Tijani Reijnders and Samuel Chukwueze scored in stoppage time to give Sergio Conceicao's side the three points they had hoped for and needed.

They're now in sixth place in the Italian league, a Conference League position, and are five points off the Champions League places.

The tension is being felt at AC Milan though, where at the end of the match Sergio Conceicao had a heated argument with defender Davide Calabria, with the two being separated by the technical staff as well as the Milan players.

Loser: Juventus

We remain in Italy, where also in round 22, Juventus had their unbeaten league record ended by Napoli.

The Old Lady opened the scoring just before half-time through newcomer Randal Kolo Muani, but second-half goals from Frank Anguissa and Romelu Lukaku turned the result in favour of Antonio Conte's Neapolitans, who are in the hunt for another Scudetto.

At the other end, Thiago Motta's side remain in fifth place with 37 points.

Winner: Barcelona

We return to the Spanish LaLiga, where the relentless Catalans put on another show, this time with "only" eight goals, five days after their crazy duel at Da Luz against Benfica in the Champions League, where the scoreboard read 5-4 in favour of Hansi Flick's side.

Remarkably, the German coach took the liberty of leaving goalscorer Robert Lewandowski on the bench, with the Polish striker coming on in the second half. Despite this, Lewa still stubbornly managed to get his name on the goalscorers' list, taking his tally to 17 league goals, two clear of Kylian Mbappe.

it's interesting also that Barca, with a starting 11 made up predominantly of La Masia academy players, had 5 different scorers, with Fermin Lopez being the only one to bag a double.

The match ended 7-1 and Barcelona, who had not won in the league for four games in a row, climbed back into the top three in LaLiga with 42 points, seven fewer than rivals and leaders Real. It was the Blaugrana's first win on home turf since early November!

The match also had a special significance for Mouctar Diakhaby, as the Guinean shot-stopper returned to the pitch for Valencia after a serious injury sidelined him for 10 months and 24 days.

Loser: Tottenham

It was a nightmare weekend for Spurs as the Londoners recorded their fourth consecutive defeat in the Premier League, where Ange Postecoglou's side are heading ever deeper towards the bottom of the standings, nine points off the relegation zone.

Tottenham lost 2-1 at home to Leicester in the latest round, with Ruud Van Nistelrooy's side managing to climb out of the relegation zone themselves for the time being.

Despite leading 1-0 at half-time after Richarlison's goal, Tottenham found themselves behind in the second half, with Jamie Vardy and Bilal El Khannouss scoring two quickfire goals for the Foxes.

It remains to be seen what decision the Spurs management will make regarding the future of Australian Ange Postecoglou.

Honourable mention: Maghnes Akliouche

We close this week's edition with a fabulous scissor-kick goal from Maghnes Akliouche in Monaco's 3-2 Ligue 1 win over Rennes. The 22-year-old striker opened the scoring and helped secure three points with a bicycle kick of beauty.
