Thomas Frank says that he had meetings with Manchester United and Chelsea in relation to a possible transfer on the same day in a new book set to be published tomorrow Monday.

The book “Thomas Frank – Dagbog fra Premier League: Historien om Danmarks største trænernavn” (“Thomas Frank – Diary from the Premier League: The story of Denmark's greatest coaching name”) will be published on Monday, containing stories from his life that only a few people have previously known about, but which are now shared with the public.

In the book, Frank reveals that he on 24 May last year had meetings with Manchester United and Chelsea on the same day.

"That was the day I had talks with two of the ten biggest clubs in the world.  - I know I didn't get either job, but it was still huge. I remember walking through Battersea Park between the two interviews and thinking: "Thomas Frank from fucking Frederiksværk (a town in Northern Zealand, Denmark) - am I really experiencing this?" says Thomas Frank to tv2.dk

In the book, Frank describes how he, in the morning, met with Manchester United owner Jim Ratcliffe in his garage in London and later in the day met with representatives of Chelsea at the Mayfair Hotel near Hyde Park, where the London club wanted the current Tottenham coach to present his views on the game, people, and leadership.

In the rest of the book, Frank talks about his dramatic exit at Brondby, his promotion to the Premier League with Brentford, phone calls with Jürgen Klopp, his efforts to remain the same person as always despite all the hype around him, and other things.

Thomas Frank will be in action again with Tottenham when they face Arsenal away in the classic London derby next Sunday.
