Binks initially joined the Sky Blues on loan from Bologna ahead of the 2023-24 season, before making his stay permanent in June 2024.
The centre-back would make 52 appearances across all competitions, playing his role in the Coventry City side, which would go on to make the FA Cup semi-final and the Sky Bet Championship play-offs.
"Luis is a modern left-footed centre-back who combines great passing with aggressiveness in man-to-man duels", says Brondby's football director, Benjamin Schmedes, to the club's website.
"He is well schooled and has experience from several international leagues despite his young age, and therefore he also fits in well with both our style of play and our culture."
Despite his relatively young age, Binks has already experienced quite a bit in his career after coming out of Tottenham's youth academy.
He has played in several of England's youth national teams, and at club level, he has been under contract at Montreal as well as at Bologna and Como, and most recently, Coventry in his home country.
Now he is ready to pull on shirt number 4 in Brondby.
"Brondby IF is a huge club with a great history, and I would like to help write it further, says Binks to brondby.com. "I know of several of the legends who have played here, such as Schmeichel, Laudrup, Agger, and so on, and this therefore testifies to a great club", says Binks.
