Justin Kluivert has become the fourth Netherlands player to leave the squad after the Bournemouth midfielder sustained an injury in Friday's World Cup qualifier against Poland.

Kluivert, who was given the start over Manchester City's Tijjani Reijnders, was subbed off in the 74th minute in the Netherlands' 1-1 draw in Warsaw. The KNVB announced on Sunday that Kluivert had withdrawn and returned to Bournemouth.

After Wout Weghorst, Quilindschy Hartman, and Denzel Dumfries, Justin Kluivert became the fourth Netherlands player to leave the squad this international break.

The Netherlands can qualify for next year's FIFA World Cup with as little as a draw from Monday's meeting with Lithuania in the Johan Cruyff ArenA. The Dutch lead Poland by three points but boast a far superior goal difference of +19, compared to Poland's +6.
