Hooker's new contract includes $29 million in new guaranteed money.
The 27-year-old posted career highs last season in interceptions (5), pass deflections (9), forced fumbles (2), tackles for loss (4), and quarterback hits (2) through 14 games. Hooker has the 30th-branked pass coverage grade (70.3) out of 171 qualified safeties.
"This is a reflection of all the people who believed in me along the way," Hooker said. "I want to thank Ms. Amy (Adams Strunk, controlling owner) for wanting me to be here, to Chad Brinker (president of football operations), Mike Borgonzi (general manager), and coach Brian Callahan for supporting me and giving me the opportunity."
"Most importantly, I want to thank my family and my teammates and those who've been in my corner since the beginning. I'm proud to be a Titan for many more years and look forward to building towards one goal."
Hooker was selected in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft and has spent all six years of his career with the Titans. However, despite his impact, he has yet to play a full season since becoming a starter in 2021 - playing in 12 (2021), 9 (2022), 13 (2023), and 14 (2024) games respectively.
Tennessee's season kicks off on September 7th against the Denver Broncos.
