10:54 CET - With play about to get underway, some quotes this morning show just what Jack Draper - in action soon - means to Jannik Sinner, who the world number one has said was a big support during his recent doping ban.
He told reporters: "We find ourself in a great friendship because we're very similar as people. We're humble. We try to do our best on court. Off court, we're very simple people.
"His support meant so much to me. Whoever supported me in this period, I really appreciate that. It was positive energy."
Sinner faces Francisco Cerundolo from 15:00 CET.

"Thanks to Novak for the unbelievable opportunity to work together and thanks to his team for all their hard work over the past six months," Murray said in a statement.
09:00 CET - Good morning and welcome back to Flashscore's Tennis Tracker. After we found out the women's quarter-final lineup yesterday, the men's draw takes centre stage today with the world's top three all in action.
Carlos Alcaraz, the current world number three, starts the day off against Karen Khachanov from 11:00 CET. The Spaniard knows only the feeling of winning against today's opponent, with a head-to-head record of four wins and no losses. Bettering that, he has never dropped a set to the Russian with three of the wins coming on clay.
It looks like an uphill battle for Khachanov, but can he upset the odds? Find out here.
Also starting early is the match-up between Jack Draper and Corentin Moutet. The Brit is riding high at the moment, up to a career-high fifth in the ATP rankings and coming off a dominant win over Vit Kopriva last time out, he is a tough man to stop.
In his way today is Moutet, who already has a big scalp in Rome after humbling Holger Rune in three sets on Sunday.
He will be in confident mood, but a win over Draper in their first meeting would be a huge step forward for the Frenchman.
