23:59 CET - Right then, what a summer of chaos it has been in the summer transfer window. There have been rollercoaster sagas, unhappy players, and lofty prices from the very start. But despite there being one or two transfer windows still open in other leagues, we now bid you farewell, as our coverage has come to an end.

23.03 CET - With Excelsior Rotterdam announcing the loan signing of Serbian winger Stefan Mitrovic from Serie A outfit Hellas Verona, the summer transfer window of the Dutch Eredivisie has seemingly reached its end. It's been a rather quiet transfer deadline day, as opposed to yesterday's mayhem from the top European leagues.

22.45 CET - CONFIRMED - They've done it: Ajax have announced the return of Danish striker Kasper Dolberg. Anderlecht receive €10 million for Dolberg, who returns to the club where he played between 2015 and 2019 and scored 43 goals for.

22.30 CET - CONFIRMED - Remember him? FC Twente have officially announced the arrival of former World Cup finalist Marko Pjaca, who once cost Juventus €23 million after a stellar Euro 2016 campaign.

21.37 CET - A breakthrough in the Kasper Dolberg case! Several media have reported that Ajax have reached a personal agreement with Dolberg and will pay €10 million to Anderlecht for the Danish international.

It is now officially a race against the clock to have all the paperwork done before midnight...

21:16 CET - CONFIRMED - Manchester City legend Ilkay Gundogan has departed the club, joining the team he supported as a child, Galatasaray, on a two-year deal.

19:07 CET -  The windows of the top European leagues slammed shut last night, but there are still five hours to go in the Netherlands!

Ajax are working hard on bringing Kasper Dolberg back to Amsterdam, but negotiations with Anderlecht aren't going smoothly. Rumours of Newcastle United striker William Osula being an alternative have been debunked already - will the Amsterdam giants get their desired striker?

17:20 CET - CONFIRMED - Eredivisie giants Feyenoord have announced the signing of Canadian striker Cyle Larin from LaLiga outfit Real Mallorca.

Feyenoord have signed Larin to a one-year loan deal and have negotiated an option to buy.

13:20 CET - The madness is not quite over. Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Manchester City's Ilkay Gundogan is on the verge of a permanent move to Turkish giants Galatasaray. What a window they've had!

11:00 CET - CONFIRMED - Manchester City have finally announced the signing of world-class goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma from PSG after Luis Enrique decided to move away from the Italian number one this summer.

10:15 CET - CONFIRMEDInter Milan have confirmed the signing of Manchester City centre-back Manuel Akanji on a season-long loan.

10:05 CET - CONFIRMED - Galatasaray's rivals Fenerbahce have announced the signing of Ederson from Manchester City, subject to international clearance. 

It was Galatasaray who had been chasing the keeper for weeks, but after that deal fell through, Fenerbahce wasted no time in bringing the experienced Brazilian in.

10:00 CET - CONFIRMED - After being linked with just about every keeper under the sun, Galatasaray have ended up going closer to home after signing Turkey's number one, Ugurcan Cakir, from Trabzonspor.

08:20 CET - CONFIRMED - Although Deadline Day has ended, we can still expect some deals to be announced this morning. One from late last night was Jamie Vardy officially joining newly promoted Serie A side Cremonese.

00:25 CET - CONFIRMED - Strasbourg have signed Ben Chilwell from Chelsea for an undisclosed fee. The full-back joins the Ligue 1 club on a two-year deal.

23:19 CET - CONFIRMED - That was quick: Sunderland have confirmed the arrival of Ajax winger Bertrand Traore, who becomes the second Ajax player to join the Black Cats in a matter of hours! The Burkinese winger joins the Black Cats for a reported €2.5 million.

23:16 CET - CONFIRMED - It was a rollercoaster deal, but Bayern Munich have finally completed the loan signing of Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea.

23:10 CET - CONFIRMED - It was a busy day for Aston Villa, and Harvey Elliot has now been brought in from Liverpool on loan.

23:07 CET - CONFIRMED - Manchester United have desperately needed a new goalkeeper, and the Red Devils have their man. They have announced the addition of Antwerp's Senne Lammens.

23:02 CET - CONFIRMED - With Isak out, Newcastle have completed the signing of Brentford striker Yoane Wissa, a saga which been dragging for weeks. In the end, the Magpies sealed the deal for £55 million.

22:45 CET - CONFIRMED - Sunderland have announced the signing of Dutch international striker Brian Brobbey, who leaves Ajax for a base fee of €20 million. The Amsterdam side could catch up to €25 million via bonuses for the forward, who scored just four goals in 30 league games last season.

Brobbey joins compatriots Robin Roefs and Lutsharel Geertruida, who joined Sunderland from RB Leipzig earlier tonight.

22:40 CET - CONFIRMED - Aston Villa have completed the addition of Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho on loan until the end of the season.

22:30 CET - CONFIRMED - The biggest and longest-running saga of the window is finally over: Alexander Isak is a Liverpool player! The Premier League champions have announced the record-breaking £125 million transfer from Newcastle, ending their phenomenal window on the highest of highs.

22:00 CET - Out of absolutely nowhere, David Ornstein is reporting that Nottingham Forest are set to sign Arsenal left back Oleksandr Zinchenko on a season-long loan.

21:39 CET - Sunderland are seemingly not done shopping in Amsterdam! According to De Telegraaf, the Black Cats are pursuing a deal for Ajax winger Bertrand Traore, who should cost €2.5 million.

Time is not on Sunderland's side, and Traore is yet to agree on personal terms or complete a medical, but the two sides are trying their best to strike a deal before it's too late.

20:45 CET - In a remarkable twist, Marc Guehi is set to STAY at Crystal Palace! Despite having a medical and a deal being agreed between Palace and Liverpool, the Eagles were unable to find a replacement, so they pulled the plug on the transfer right at the death.

20:24 CET - Aymeric Laporte is returning to Athletic Club after eight years, with the Spanish side agreeing a deal with Al Nassr, according to Fabrizio Romano.

20:17 CET - CONFIRMED - Victor Boniface has joined Werder Bremen on a season-long loan from Bayer Leverkusen, after he successfully passed his medical this time around.

20:00 CET - Deadline Day is officially over as the clock strikes 20:00 CET! Panic not, though; clubs that have submitted a deal sheet have two hours to confirm any last-minute signings.

We are still expecting Manchester City to announce Gianluigi Donnarumma, Manchester United to confirm Senne Lammens, Liverpool to sign Alexander Isak and potentially Marc Guehi too. So, a lot is still to come!

19:55 CET - After milking and teasing the deal for all its worth, Real Betis have finally confirmed the permanent signing of Antony from Manchester United.

19:50 CET - A second potential deadline day collapsed deal! Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Javi Galan's move to Nottingham Forest is in danger after not signing all the documents in time. Disaster!

19:38 CET - CONFIRMED - After initially refusing to move to Serie A, Rasmus Hojlund has now joined Napoli on loan for the season.

Meanwhile, in LaLiga, Villarreal have confirmed the signing of Lyon striker Georges Mikautadze on a five-year deal for a reported fee of 36 million Euros.

19:00 CET - Fulham have got their man, Kevin! Fabrizio Romano has reported the famous 'Here We Go' for Kevin to Craven Cottage from Shakhtar Donetsk.

And in a crazy few minutes for Fulham, Romano is now reporting that they have agreed a deal to sign Samu Chukwueze from AC Milan on loan with a buy option.

18:50 CET - A fascinating twist in the Marc Guehi saga! David Ornstien has reported that, despite Guehi passing a medical, the move to Liverpool is in jeopardy amid Crystal Palace's issues finding an adequate replacement.

18:33 CET - CONFIRMED - Atalanta have announced the signing of midfielder Yunus Musah from AC Milan for a season-long loan with an option to buy for €25M.

18:20 CET - Are Galatasaray about to sign their keeper at last? Santi Aouna is reporting that the Turkish giants are preparing a new bid worth €25m to FC Porto for Diogo Costa.

17:50 CET - A big blow for Crystal Palace in their hunt for a Marc Guehi replacement as Charlie Parker-Turner reports that a deal to sign Igor from Brighton has broken down.

17:25 CET - CONFIRMED -  On the same day as sacking their head coach, Bayer Leverkusen have announced the signing of highly-rated Argentine midfielder Ezequiel Fernandez from Al Qadisiya on a five-year deal.

17:20 CET - An exciting development coming from Turkish reporter Yaiız Sabuncuoglu for Galatasaray fans. He is reporting that Gala are closing on signing Manchester City's midfielder Ilkay Gundogan on a contract until 2027.

17:07 CET - Back to the Premier League, Nottingham Forest look to have completed the deal to sign experienced full-back Javi Galan from Atletico Madrid, according to David Ornstien.

16:55 CET - Marseille's busy Deadline Day continues as they have landed defender Benjamin Pavard from Inter, according to Fabrizio Romano.

16:44 CET - Over in the Netherlands, Ajax are working on life after Brian Brobbey. The Dutch striker is set to join Sunderland and will likely be replaced by Anderlecht ace Kasper Dolberg, several media outlets are reporting.

The Dane, who should cost €10 million, played 120 games for Ajax earlier in his career, and is said to be keen on a return to Amsterdam.

16:32 CET - Bayern Munich have finally got their man! Nicolas Jackson is on his way to the Bavarians, after they agreed a loan + obligation deal with Chelsea, according to Fabrizio Romano. The deal could reportedly come to an overall total of £70 million.

16:23 CET - The Marc Guehi saga is over! Several reports have just confirmed that Liverpool have now agreed a £35 million deal with Crystal Palace to sign the defender, and he is set to have a medical in London.

The champions have unquestionably had one of the greatest transfer windows in Premier League history... 

16:11 CET - CONFIRMED - Chelsea have completed the season-long loan signing of Brighton midfielder Facundo Buonanotte.

15:51 CET - Newcastle expert Craig Hope is stating that the Premier League outfit have agreed a £30 million deal with Frankfurt to sell striker William Osula. A really great sale for Newcastle.

Our transfer expert Dean Jones had this to say: "Amid all the striker talk this summer, one of Newcastle's capable goalscorers might be making a move of his own.

"Osula is a very good player, but just isn’t going to get the chances and game time he needs at Newcastle - so he is very open to an offer from Frankfurt. He would do very well in the Bundesliga."

15:25 CET - After his move to Roma broke down, David Ornstein is reporting that Fulham have struck a £22 million deal with Chelsea to sign 19-year-old Tyrique George.

14:52 CET - Inter Milan have agreed a loan deal with Manchester City for defender Manuel Akanji, with the player now set for a medical, according to Fabrizio Romano. There is a 15 million euro buy option clause included in the deal, but it will only become mandatory under difficult conditions.

14:41 CET - CONFIRMED - Aston Villa have announced the signing of former Manchester United defender and free agent Victor Lindelof.

13:57 CET - The news just doesn't stop today! David Ornstein is now reporting that Spurs have reached a full loan agreement with PSG to sign Randal Kolo Muani, and the Frenchman is heading to London for a medical.

13:44 CET - What a window it has been for Liverpool, and Ben Jacobs is now claiming that the Reds are confident of finalising a deal for Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi. A medical in London is on the cards.
